VISUAL ART SCHOLARSHIPS 

 

HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS:

ARTners, a Sacramento Regional Creative Non Profit 501c3, is honored to continue our student high school senior “ARTners Scholarships” Program for the 2024 graduation year! 

Please join the ARTners in building our scholarship fund for these future art students and/or college students with visual art in their soul.  The ARTners Scholarship Program became effective November 1, 2020.  Sacramento Regional graduating high school Art Students are eligible to apply.

There will be (2) two $500 scholarships given to 2 selected and deserving students for the graduating class of 2024.

ACTIVITIES

 

COMMUNITY EVENTS:

ARTners participates in many community events, creating, inspiring and educating with youth, young adults, adults and elderly.  Helping the community express themselves in a creative, positive, cultural and healthy way.  ARTners would like to work with your community! 

MURAL TOURS:

Beginning in 2014 “THE WKi SACRAMENTO MURAL TOUR” (2014-2021) was the first of its kind, in Sacramento, escorting interested viewers on a personal guided tour of a one-of-a-kind mural art learning experience. These murals feature the works from the Sacramento Mural Company, Wes Kos Images, established in Sacramento in 1997.  Take a tour, enjoy the travel and view these particular murals-of-significance. Hear the meanings of the process of these WKi productions. Murals of beauty, inspirations, awareness and honoring. (Greater Sacramento Area – 45 mile long)

VENDING PARTICIPATION:

The ARTners are frequently invited to participate in many community events, to sell art, perform live art and to provide information on their current visual projects. Especially annual community events such as The Sacramento Banana Festival, Dia de Los Muertos, WNC Barrio Market, Back to the BLVD, and other various themed events.  We would love for you to invite us to your event!

CIVIC ENGAGEMENT:

ARTners is active in the community with State, City, County and School events.  We participate  as event hosts, show participation, collaborative murals of live painting, educational presenters. etc.,  Invite us to your event!

PROGRAMS

“A Walk In My Shoes”

This is a program offered by ARTners is designed to represent people in all Walks of Life! It is about the things you love in life and what you have endured. Order a painting for yourself or as a gift.  We will add creativity to your walk of life based on the information you give us. This is a donation based program.  Please contact us if you are interested. at our contact menu above.

“Helping People Heal”

This is a free program offered by ARTners.  The program is designed to help people who have lost a loved one and help them in their grieving process by  receiving a hand painted healing gift (portrait) of their loved one.  This is a way for ARTners to bring a piece of them back to life.  It is also something tangible that you can cherish forever. To request a painting, contact us on the contact menu above.

“BRUSH/AEROSOL APPLICATION INTRODUCTION” 

Mural Expressions mural art program, engages in an ‘ARTnership’ with community organizations, schools, municipalities, and  corporations. We assist your group to creatively express your vision in a mural production process.

Additionally, ARTners offers Mural Classes.  Class participants will learn the mural process and how to paint basic line work, shapes and brush strokes.

COMMUNITY CONNECTORS

“SACRAMENTO STORY’S” (SELECTED INVITATION) – 3D Small Scale Models

Our program is an honoring recognition of stories of our region visually connecting our communities expressed in a unique style. Pillars of a community are pillars of strength, showing one’s civic accomplishments.   Sacramento “The Land of Many Stories” will highlight many individuals that fit into that category. This is our organization’s way to equaly represent, together unify and show strength in our community.
