BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 Meet Our Team

Teresa Gutierrez, President

I am an artist from North Highlands, CA. I began my journey as a portrait artist in my late teens, following in the footsteps of my talented mother. After putting my brushes down to raise my family in 1999, I picked them back up in 2011 as a single mother to make ends meet. In 2013, I met mural artist Markos Egure, who mentored me in mural painting. Since then, I have completed and donated my time to 15 murals in Sacramento, CA, and 1 in San Diego.

I have owned and operated two art galleries in Downtown Sacramento and am now a co-founder of the non-profit 501c3 ARTners. Additionally, I am a retired Chief from the State of California, with 30 years of service. In my leisure time, I run my for-profit business, PinkStreet Art.

My purpose as a non-profit owner is to inspire—to encourage artists and the community to be creative, to pursue their dreams, and to never, never give up!

Markos Egure, Vice President

In 1997 the full time small business entrepreneurship began.
